Tracy Abel: BA from Western Washington University. Owner of Abel Management, an event and meeting management company. Previous owner of Lush Wine Bar in Cannon Beach. Past Board Member of the Cannon Beach History Center & Museum and currently on the Board of Friends of Haystack Rock, President of the Cannon Beach Chamber of Commerce and Chair of The Cannon Beach Academy Public Relations/Fundraising Committee.
Linda Majors: Linda Majors and her then elementary aged children moved to Cannon Beach in 2002, to join her fiancée Bryce Majors. Having 2 children complete their elementary education and another start hers at CBE, she feels it is essential for our children and community to have a grade school in Cannon Beach. She was an honorary member of the Cannon Beach PTO and is devoted in the efforts of opening a Charter School in Cannon Beach. She works full time for Cannon Beach Property Management.
Patti Rouse: Moved with her spouse and three young children in 1984. While her spouse enjoyed a career in law enforcement, she took jobs that coordinated with the family. She cleaned at Bell Harbor, was the secretary at the Presbyterian church and enjoyed working with the flowers at Raintree. She also waitressed at Lemon Tree and Mo's. For the last 17 years she has worked with Providence as a Patient Access Representative. She has been active as a volunteer, including at Cannon Beach Elementary School, the American Legion, The Tri-City Thrift Store, the Children's Center, Chamber and Library fund raisers.
Kellye Dewey: Born and raised in Cannon Beach. Attended Cannon Beach Elementary School from K - 5th grade. Married to Ryan Dewey. Moved to Portland for a short time before deciding to come back and raise our family here. Along with spouse is a local business owner and have two small children.
Judy Wood: Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, she came to the states at the age of 21 with her husband and settled in Michigan where her two children were born. Lived in Ann Arbor for a few years, transferred to Phoenix for a few years and then returned to Michigan where she lived for 35 years. After working in Detroit as an executive secretary her girls were born and she was an at home mom for 10 years. Next she returned to work and became an assistant director of an art gallery for 12 years. Prior to leaving the art gallery she started an interior design business and ran it from her home for 12 years. She moved to Cannon Beach 11 years ago with her spouse to retire and be closer to their children and grandchildren. Since living in Cannon Beach she has volunteered at the Seaside Hospital, and managed to gift shop for 5 years, been on the board of the Food Systems and volunteered at the food pantry. She is active at the Community Church and am currently on the Board of Directors at the library.
